Transmission is from a 1959 Cadillac Commercial chassis, automatic
3-speed. Recently rebuilt on 02/16/2011 by Summit Transmissions in La Mesa, CA and
comes with the paperwork. Paid $2,800 for the rebuild. The car has
only been driven a few times since then and runs like a champ. I
hate to sell it but the host car got a new engine that doesn’t fit this
tranny. At $1,400, my loss is your gain.
The transmission is located in San Diego ( La Mesa, CA ) at the auto shop it
was pulled at. Up to you how you get it out of here. I’ll do my best
to work with you but I have no experience in shipping an transmission. Your
research = the solution.
