I bought these for one reason, to keep my hands warm on my commute. They seem well made, but my hands sting after the first mile in 30 degree weather, I wish I’d have held off on the purchase. I’m not sure if it’s the fit or the fallacy of Thinsulate (I’ve never had any luck with Thinsulate) but I wouldn’t purchase them again unless I wanted some spring/autumn gloves. The reason I’ll give them a few stars is that I believe they would offer abrasion protection and being all leather provides some value. But don’t buy them to keep you warm.

These gloves promised a lot. Great fit, great feel, great construction, tough yet supple. And am I happy with them – Oh yes. They will be GREAT when the weather gets above 10deg C. I live in Japan, and these gloves are not built for Japan winters.

OK, if you were to only ride at zero degrees C for about 15 minutes they would be fine. Unfortunately I ride at an average of 100km/h for about an hour every morning and evening. These don’t keep me warm once it gets lower than 10 degC.

But when the temp improves they promise to be a great glove. Really, I like them, but they lost a point because they say “Winter”.
