Just curious what the point of having a sliding shaft on the throttle/shift cables is. I just finished rebuilding my carbs and was going through the link/sync and couldn’t figure out if i needed to pull the shaft all the way out of the tube or push it back in or just leave it alone before making attachments to the engine.
Does it matter?
